1. PASSIVE FUNDRAISING BY REGISTERING AT YOUR FAVORITE STORES
Nugget, and Raley’s/Bel Air both have FREE scrip programs that would give DECS a percentage of the money that you spend at their store.
Each store has a different program and way to sign up for their scrip card or loyalty program. They all make it very easy to do and once you are signed up, all you have to do is swipe your card or enter your phone number and our school earns much needed money every time you shop.

2. SHOPPING AT SMILE.AMAZON.COM.
Christmas shopping? School Supplies? Household Goods? IT ALL COUNTS TOWARDS EARNING between 4% to 8.5% in fundraising dollars that go directly back to DECS.
On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), you are prompted to select a charitable organization from their list of eligible organizations. You must use smile.amazon.com in order for your purchases to qualify. Simply typing in amazon.com will not work for the AmazonSmile donations. When designating your charity, please select “River Charter Schools” in Clarksburg, CA to support DECS.
To designate or change your charitable organization:
1. Sign in to smile.amazon.com on your desktop or mobile phone browser (note – at this time mobile apps will not work for the Amazonsmile donations. You must use a browser such as Safari, Google Chrome, etc).
2. From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, and then select the option to Change your Charity. Or, from your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page.
3. Select “River Charter Schools” in Clarksburg CA to support.

3. USING YOUR SHOPPING RECEIPTS TO EARN CASH FOR DECS THROUGH SHOPAROO
This year DEC’s is excited to be partnering with a truly hassle-free fundraiser called Shoparoo! Shoparoo is fundraising made easy: turn pictures of your everyday shopping receipts into cash donations and sweepstakes entries for our school with this free app where you take a quick photo of your receipts, and that’s it!
Get started today:
1. Download the free Shoparoo app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Select our school from the list, pick the grade level you would like to support (for classroom competitions) and start taking pictures of your receipts – shop anywhere, buy anything!
3. Earn even more points by spreading the word and inviting others to join.
There’s no limit to how much money we can raise with Shoparoo – the more supporters, the more we will raise for our school so invite your friends, family and neighbors to help support Delta Elementary Charter School!
